Colonel Sanders - The man behind the KFC's Logo

When ever I see the KFC’s (Kentucky fried chicken) logo, I just wonder who the person is. Later I came to know some astonishing facts aobut that Person in that logo. He is the founder of KFC. His name is Colonel Sanders.  When he was six years old, his father died. And his mother remarried. Little Sandars ran away from home because his stepfather beat him.
 
Sanders held many jobs during his working years but he found himself broke at the age of 65. See friends, This was the age of retirement and people usually think to take rest at this age, ofcourse they will invest some money for it too. But unfortunately, Sandars had not saved and invested any money.
 
All he was receiving at that time was $105 from social security. He was struggling financially  and was mad. Instead of complaining he did something about it. He thought restaurant owners would love his fried chicken recipe. So he started visiting different restaurants trying to sell his chicken recipe.

In his travels, he was sleeping in his car because he could not afford a hotel room at that time.  Many restaurant owners laughed at him and on his chicken recipe. He was turned down 1,009 times but he did not quit. And eventually someone finally said “Yes”. They launched their first “KFC” site in 1952. During next 10 years, there were over 600 franchised locations in the U. S. and Canada. Now say friends, Was it his chicken recipe that made him world famous businessman?
 
Well, The answer is “No”. He had this recipe all along during his working years. It was his determination to find new ways to make money that helped him becoming successful. He made some tough decisions. He kept taking some daily actions even when others were telling him that “His idea was Stupid”. He kept trying and created his own destiny.
 You too can do the same. Many good ideas come in your mind daily. But these ideas can not make you successful until and unless you make a decision to keep working on them. New opportunities will seem to materialize out of thin air when you will make a deliberate decision not to give up.
